Below are some of the most common questions regarding our motorhome rentals.
What is the security deposit?
A security deposit is due 24 hours before vehicle collection. Please pay the deposit via debit card; it will be released once the vehicle is returned in good condition.
What are the collection and return times?
We operate Monday through Sunday:
- Collection: 11:00 to 14:00
- Return: By 10:00
Is insurance included?
Yes, insurance is included. Terms and conditions apply, so please ensure you read them thoroughly.
Can I bring a pet?
We allow dogs in select campers. Please check with us regarding availability for pet-friendly vehicles.
Where do I collect the motorhome?
Collection is at Etwall Road. We provide 24-hour secure parking where you can leave your car during your trip. Please note that vehicles are left at your own risk; we recommend removing all valuables.
Can I take the motorhome to a festival?
We do allow hire for certain festivals. Please provide us with the event details, and we will make a decision on a case-by-case basis.
Is smoking permitted?
No smoking is permitted within any of our vehicles at any time. A cleaning charge will be deducted from the security deposit if any evidence of smoking is found.
Do you cater to weddings?
Ask away for your big day! We are happy to accommodate wedding requests whenever possible.
What should I do if an accident occurs?
- Notify JJ's Motorhome Hire within 2 hours of the event.
- Obtain the names and addresses of witnesses or third parties and report the event to the nearest police station.
Can I view the motorhome before booking?
You are more than welcome to arrange an appointment to view any of our motorhomes.
What’s Included?
Your rental comes fully equipped with everything you need for the road. Our motorhomes include:
Essentials: Full tank of fuel, full gas bottles (including one refillable bottle), and AdBlue.
Utility & Power: Solar panel, 240v power hook-up, fresh water connector, and full water tank.
Comfort: All bedding, bathroom towels, hand soap, and toilet roll.
Outdoor Gear: Bike rack, camping chairs, and tire blocks.
Safety & Security: Full UK & European insurance, breakdown cover, mileage allowance, first aid kit, and fire extinguisher.
Special Features: Power inverters (available in 'Hoggy' only).
Fully Equipped Kitchen
Catering for 2–7 people, our kitchen setup includes:
Refreshments: Tea, coffee, and hot chocolate.
Cookware: Saucepans, kettle, and essential utensils.
Tableware: Mugs, plates, cutlery, and plastic cups.
Cleaning Supplies: Tea towels, rubbish bags, and antibacterial spray or wipes.
